Oh Break-fast!

I woke up at 12:25pm today, and I didnt feel right. I dont know, it feels like I didnt manage to accomplish something. I missed breakfast dammit. I'm sure most of you have heard from everywhere that breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, as compared to lunch and dinner, and I had that in mind all the time. I always wanted to find out why, but due to time constraints and everything else, it always slipped off my mind until today when I thought something was really amiss. It's weird, I dont know how to put it words. When I missed breakfast, it was as if a Katharine Mcphee fanatic had missed an American Idol finale episode. It was that major (okay American Idol's not a big deal at all, but you definitely get what I mean). Here's why breakfast is so bloody vital for an average day: A healthy breakfast refuels your body and replenishes your blood sugar (glucose), giving you the energy necessary to start a new day. In addition, a growing body of evidence indicates that breakfast is good for both your physical and mental health.

Studies show that people who eat breakfast, especially a healthy breakfast, are more likely to consume more vitamins and minerals and less fat and cholesterol during the day, have better concentration and be more productive throughout the morning due to the replenishing of glucose (glucose is the main brain's energy source), control their weight (researchers speculate that eating breakfast may reduce hunger later in the day, or that it may cause eaters to choose less-dense foods at later meals. Eating breakfast regularly may simply be an indicator of someone who adopts a low-calorie, low-fat diet), have more strength and endurance, and have lower cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease (people who eat breakfast consume less dietary cholesterol than do people who don't eat breakfast). Consider consuming hard-boiled eggs, peanut butter, lean slices of meat, skim milk, low-fat yogurt cups or low-fat cheeses, whole fruits and vegetables or whole-grain rolls, bagels, hot or cold whole-grain cereals. Breakfast may not be a heavy meal, as long as its nutritious and filling enough it should be right on. For those who wanna go on that diet to lose weight, dont miss breakfast. Missing breakfast will be hell instead, trust me.

Okay, so I guess that's breakfast for you. I didnt just copy and paste that really. I actually looked at a particular website and summarised it coz its just too interesting not to read about it. Talk about freaky semangatness (enthusiasm). It's part of our daily lives anyway. Seriously, its either that my alarm wasn't set for this morning, or my mobile phone died on me, and so the alarm wont go off since there's no battery power left. I need to get one of those reliable alarm clocks that really buzz off, and the only thing you can do to stop it from buzzing is to lob it against the wall. That'll work. I'll be meeting Syaz later for the Topman/Topshop Fashion Party. Really looking forward to it. I'll update about it probably tomorrow. Oh no, I've got camp. Prolly Saturday (or, tonight) then, and I'll update about the Semi-finals together with it. See you at the Semi-finals!
