What's wrong with rewarding oneself after years of working? The world teaches us to pamper ourselves etc etc..

But spiritually, i know i do not work to just survive on earth. But work for God's kingdom. Will my carbon stone contribute anything then? NOPE. *sharks* Will God spend $10K to buy that? i also don't think so! *sharks sharks*

Thus, its been a long time struggle for my own journey.

i was convinced by God that HE already has given me what i wanted! much more than what i asked for in fact. 1 journey, many reasons to support it.

1) i could not wear the stone daily anyway - with dangers lurking everywhere.. i would not want my fingers to be chopped off because of an attention grabbing glitter.

2) that tiny item could be traded for many more 'useful' items *but i shall not suggest anything right now... cos i cant guarantee that these are not material stuff! haha *

3) i need to save up for my future wor... 未雨绸缪

4) i actually do not know how to go about buying a good diamond!!!

5) i do not have the $$ now anyway...

6) i most probably might lose it!

7) most importantly : God is this 10 carat Jewel in my life! PRECIOUS to me! HE is the best in clarity, color and whatever they use to measure the grade of diamonds.

i do not need another stone in my life anymore! *junlin will heave a sigh of relief* hehe.

yea. it really doesn't matter to me anymore. why did it take me so long to realise this?

i was worshipping during the service today and was singing a song with the lyrics something like Jesus is like a jewel to us. so precious.

RESULTS:

i don't even need to spend that $10K! woo hoo!

i got a 10 carat precious stone! and i can share it with you too!
