Hi!!! I'm jerome. My full name is Mak Wai Keat Jerome! Dun really like my chinese name though. It sounds like a girl. Please don't make fun of it k? I'm called Hui Jie. Oh well.. Mummy gave me that name.. No choice.. =)

Hmmm.. With regards to this competition.. This is the 2nd major competition that i took part in. I decided to join this competition because i really like singing alot, it's just that i have alot or work to be done before i can be a good singer! So! This competition is a chance for me to gain exposure, learn from the fellow contestants, and make wonderful friends in the process! ( haven't really talked to anyone yet.. shy la.. =( )

Let me share with  you a little experience from my auditions! I was waiting for my turn to enter the audition room when the girl after me started practising a few lines of her song. That was when i wanted to walk out of the school and head back home.. LOL!! HER VOICE IS LIKE SUPER POWER CAN??? I seriously felt like a joke! Haha! It was just so demoralising.. How to make it through the auditions like that?

But now that i'm through.. Guess what? I found another 23 of such people!! OMG!! MADNESS!! THIS IS A NIGHTMARE!!! Have you seen the videos? All of them can sing like super well la.. Sigh.. sad case.. But since i'm given a chance to at least get through to the finals, i will try my best and learn as much as i can from these real pros! All the best to the 23 fantastic individuals! i'm sure you guys will shine on the 28th! =)
