the ever increasing oil prices in singapore is farcical. oil prices shld flucuate like the stock market, since the trade price per barrel also flucuates everyday around US$120-130. there is simply no reason for the continuous sharp increase in oil prices in Singapore.

what is casuing the increase is ALL speculation. with specualtion, oil riggers simply just charge more per barrel, citing simple reasons like its speculated, thus the increase in price. that makes the speculation correct. and so who is to blame. financial analysist?

currently oil supply is simply adequate without any shortage. in fact, there is more than enough with news from saudi arabia that they will be releasing more supplies. the very fact that oil companies stock up oil which they purchased long ago is pissing me off. so the current increase is so as to purely generate more profits. speechless.

using the reason of rising oil prices to cover their ALREADY huge margins is laughable.

who are the top earners at the end of financial years? its the oil companies. LAME. i plead to theSingapore government, pls do something to curb the increase or risk having some serious financial economy changes (even tho i know u are earning huge profits thru SPC) - SPC is fully government-owned.

wad can i say. oil prices increased twice in the space of a week. they increased diesel prices by 17 cents per litre while petrol increase 7cents this week. that equates out to an increase of about $9 this week to pump a full tank of diesel (my tank is 53L). My full tank costs $97 now. and it was $65 about a yr ago.

Goldman Sachs expect oil prices to hit US$200 per barrel by the end of the yr. with that, i expect the increase of oil prices in singapore to be 100% - about $4 per litre. its like pouring 50 plates of char kway teow into your car each time it is thirsty.

this is gonna have a serious impact in the second-hand car market. the second-hand car market is already moving slowly in singapore where pple all opt to buy new cars. soon pple will stop driving(cant afford the fuel) and sell their cars. who would buy them?

Yeah we won the double. HOW happy is that. for those who dun know, i am a Man Utd fan since the age of 12, the Eric Cantona era. so i am a true blooded Man Utd fan.

all the lack of sleep last night has paid off. i din sleep whole night until after the match at 6am. Man Utd dominated the first half but couldnt score more than 1 goal, instead letting in a soft goal to Chelsea.

Chelsea dominated the second half and things did not look too good. Drogba got sent off in extra time for slapping Vidic's face for apparently no apparent reason.

Ronaldo missed his penalty during the penalty shootout and i thought that was it. Chelsea was gg to win the CL when John Terry stepped up to take his team's last penalty. AMAZINGLY, he slipped while taking the shot, it hit the post and bounced clear.
