Quaffs (beta)

hello people! how have you been? life's been great for me cuz after a week of rest from internship, i rested and then went to work for Raffles Hotel Mooncakes. boy, life has been hectic. tomorrow is the last day of booth sales, so do come down to the booth at Raffles Hotel if you want to get any mooncakes! :D there is a 25% discount for all staff and friends as well, so after discount, a box would cost about $36. the flavours for snowskin left are the champagne and cognac. while stocks last! hahaha.

im pretty glad i joined the operation because i got to meet many new people. although i may not see them after this period anymore, but contact numbers have been exchanged and everything, im pretty sure we will be keeping in contact! :D

it had been about 3 weeks (almost a month) since i finished internship at Quaffs. boy, it feels like it has been a long time!

lately, ive been selling mooncakes at Raffles Hotel. i had a week of rest before i started work. btw, i went for Singfest as a kind of celebration for the end of internship!! :DD

life has been all about selling mooncakes. i mean, i go to work everyday to cut mooncakes! sigh, the other lazy people just wont volunteer to cut the mooncakes. the truffles are such a chore! they might not be in the middle of the mooncake, thus making it harder to cut into smaller pieces.

imma mooncake master cutter!! LOL.

the show First Class is spastic, lame but funny LOL! Mark Chay is brillant! kudos to him!

so everything has finally come to an end. internship, that is. it had been a fun and enjoyable five months at Quaffs. you guys are really awesome people. Quaffs is totally underrated. Well thats what I think.

i remembered the first time when i went for the interview at Quaffs. i could not find Nehsons building. i panicked and called my friend to double confirm the address. i could not find the damn building! i saw 23 Peck Seah Street and 25 Peck Seah Street. but no 24 Peck Seah Street!!

it was only until i walked down the opposite street of the building that i saw Nehsons Building.

*dangggg*

the building is so big and tall and yet i couldnt and didnt know that was the very building!

i checked my watch and heaved a big sigh. i was not late. i knocked at the door and there i saw the office for the first time. Eric and Gee Shing was in the middle of a meeting with a person. and that guy was MARK ZEEE!! LOL.

right, but i was told to come back later. so i hung around (cant remember where) and when i came back, Mark Zee came out! and he smiled! LOL okay i sound like fangirling. pardon me for that.

the very three things that Eric wanted me to remember while being here was Accountable, Responsible and Visible. Eric, i think i will never forget these three points since i was asked to repeat this a few times the first time i met you guys :P

anyohow, i thought Quaffs was weird. they dont eat lunch!! are they robots or something? robots do need to have oil to work right? and the Quaffs people live on BK and Old Chang Kee. i had to take some time to adjust to that kind of culture.

it was only until Shaun came and changed the culture. we started eating at Amoy! that has been the culture of Quaffs ever since. i should be glad..yes i am glad..lol. and yes..i had my last lunch, period, at Amoy.

haha, do i sound like ill never see you guys again? well, dont forget to call me when you guys move into the new premises! cant wait to see the new workplace of Quaffs. with new and better refurbishment, that is. do seriously consider having Wii so that when the next time i come, i can play! LOL. hey, Wii keeps you fit! sitting all day, cooped up in the office is no good, Wii could help!

okay, have i leaked out too much information about Quaffs? ops. slip of my tongue. i mean, my fingers. but all in all, this would give people a human face to Quaffs :))
